Well this has been an awful experience. It is not the first time this has happened to me specifically from REBAG but this is the most recent and blunt attempt to shake customers down for more money once REBAG receives your bag that you sold to them. You sell your bag for a “quoted” price on their app or website and then you get your money into your REBAG account after the inspection from their team.

I sold a Jacquemus Wicker Bag to them in BRAND NEW condition with tags, never been worn once, in the original dust bag with the original tags still attached, store bought condition and once they received it, they sent me an updated offer with a lower price. They said that, “The condition comments include: Darkening, scuffs and watermarks on flap, handle and underneath flap, scuffs on interior sides, scratches on hardware.” LIES!

I have included photos here so you can see the Jaqcuemus bag that was sent to them. You can see below the brand new bag with the plastic still on the hardware in the photos, in which none of those above comments from REBAG are relatable to…..:

We tried to explain that they must of mistaken our bag with another bag because our bag was brand new. No, they insisted all of this damage and lowered our price that they were going to buy the bag for. Even as small as $30 USD taken off the sell price makes a large difference in these smaller bags. We were beyond frustrated and demanded photos to see what they were seeing as we had a video of packing the bag plus tons of photos as you can see above.

Rebag WOULD NOT send us photos of their comments to the alleged damage to the bag as THERE WAS NO DAMAGE! They even doubled down that they see damage all around the bag and it was not in new condition to pressure us to sell them the bag at a lower price. WE DID NOT SELL.

We asked for Rebag to send us our bag back to us in the exact condition we sent it to them in. The silver lining is that they did send it back to us in the same UNUSED NON DAMAGED CONDITION as we sent it in. We have no idea why they tried the shake down on us however BUYER & SELLERS BEWARE! We will not waste our time or money with REBAG any longer. The lies that came from them are outrageous and we do not condone this practice of selling and buying luxury designer items.

There are a lot of other great places to sell and buy your designer items such as Fashionphile, Sothebys, and even Luxe Du Jour. We really had an eye opening experience with REBAG and it left a sour taste in our mouth in to which we wanted to write this blog to warn all of our followers and readers.
