Well just like the Louis Vuitton cup, CHANEL is getting in on sponsoring “The J 12 Boat Race” , which is an event between Oxford and Cambridge and is the UK’s oldest major sporting event. The name of the event comes from the iconic J12 unisex CHANEL watch that has been around for decades.

This is CHANEL’s first move into the sports sector and being a French luxury brand, they are definitely flexing against rival LVMH. The event will be April 13, 2025 and there will be around 250,000 attendees.
