Annual Hermes Sale is ONLY Available to Invited Customers in NYC

I remember the days I use to hear about the Hermes Annual Sale - which was a first come first serve basis. Yes, I would wake up before the sun would come up and drive down to the “secret” location and get myself in line with my best friend to conquer the Hermes Sale. This Hermes Sale is not for the faint of heart of for the average shopper, this is for the shoppers who have black belts and know what they are doing.

The Hermes Sale started back in France and has gone through almost every country. As almost anyone could get in line for the sale, only a few were actually allowed in as the capacity for the space plus the products left were limited. The amount of pieces you were allowed to purchase was also limited to allow for others to purchase their sale items. Such as, only two leather pieces and one home item is allowed per customer.

NOW - Hermes in NYC is inviting select customers to their latest sale in New York City. Yes, the location is under lock and key and your SA has to invite you to the sale. I am hoping with the customers they invite that this sale will be a little more civilized than in the past however I do feel great customers are left off the list, which is not surprising but is in fact annoying as a loyal Hermes client. The one thing I do understand is security and with how things are today, having a Hermes sale open to the public sounds like a thieves holiday.
