Chanel has now put a limit on how many bags you can purchase from their boutiques in South Korea and this is only the beginning for Chanel. As the second and third market prices soar on Chanel bags, sometimes going above the retail pricing for those unicorn bags, Chanel has seen that if they increase the demand, they will also increase the price plus exclusivity of their brand.
As Chanel as become a widely available brand for many, the fashion house wants the Chanel brand to be not as obtainable to everyone as they are setting limits of a few bags per year, especially their most sought after, for each customer. This will be translating into other countries and markets coming in 2022 plus a major price increase again across the board hence trying to make the Chanel brand that more exclusive!
Make sure to snag up your favorite Chanel bag before the holidays because once 2022 hits in a few weeks, some of your favorite CC bags might not be as obtainable as you might be hoping for.
