CEO Bernard Arnault of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) brand decided to stop ALL manufacturing of its perfumes and cosmetics. LVMH Perfumes and Cosmetics has been instructed to focus entirely on producing hand sanitizer (hydroalcholic gel) amid the shortage during COVD-19.

LVMH Perfumes and Cosmetics also includes the Christian Dior and Givenchy parfums.

The hydroalcoholic gel will be delivered free of charge to the French health authorities.

As we are in unprecedented times in life right now, this move I feel is great on part of the LVMH brand and I wish more brands would follow suit. LVMH wants to take the initiative to take the right action to protect people against the spread of the pandemic virus.

LVMH said they would continue to produce this hand sanitizing gel indefinitely.
