Hermes Evelyne TPM Discontinued
I have been hearing rumors of this coming for a long time (2018) and even when I tried to “Google” more information from other sources I found out what I didn’t want to hear. It has been announced by many sources that the Hermes Evelyne TPM has been discontinued for the present time. I purchased mine in July 2019 and was offered two of those little cuties so this is a huge surprise for me. The mini Evelyne bag is the smallest version (6.7” X 7” X 2”) of the iconic Hermes messenger bag and is absolutely adorable.
With the mini bag craze all the rage right now, I am super shocked that they discontinued this bag as there is such a huge demand for it in the market place. I am now really lucky that I purchased this TPM bag when I did as I would have been very disappointed for passing it up. The bag use to retail at the Hermes boutiques for around $1,600.00 USD.
I love this small messenger bag because you can wear it at a messenger, change out the strap to another Hermes strap which could have different colors or patterns, use a Hermes Twilly to make it a handle bag plus the size is great when you are sightseeing around a new city.
Don’t get too upset though, Hermes still offers the Evelyne bag in three other sizes with smallest now being the PM size (11.25″ x 12″ x 2 ½”), GM Size (12” x 13” x 3”) and the largest style TGM (16″ x 16.5″ x 4″).
If anyone else has any information on this discontinued bag, please comment below. I would love to know more about if they are going to bring it back? Does anyone have a HSS order in for one?
