Chanel Spring/Summer 2021 Women's LIVE Runway Show
The Chanel Spring/Summer 2021 Women’s LIVE Runway Show in Paris actually happened!!! We were speculating whether or not this show would actually go LIVE as this pandemic has seized most fashion week and have made them into a virtual event. This Spring/Summer 2021 season of Chanel, was probably one of my favorite collections since Uncle Karl passed away.
The big CHANEL sign taking inspiration from the HOLLYWOOD sign for the set and mood of the 2021 season. The entire set was white including the floor, walls, signs and the clothes just radiated off! With bright colors coming out of retirement and new bags emerging, the collection was gorgeous and very well streamlined into what we all have been craving.
Small bags and accessories of the small bag trend is here to stay and you can see that especially within all the Parisian designers collections, even Louis Vuitton that premiered the same day as Chanel’s runway show. The Chanel bags were miniature and they were put on necklaces, bracelets, belts and of course crossbody and just to held. With all these new styles, you can definitely see how CUTE these new S/S 2021 accessories really are!
My one suggestion for all the brands - where are the high end luxury face masks?? I thought for sure Chanel would have a Tweed Face Mask or one embellished with a Camellia flower, but they did not. I was a bit disappointed and hopeful for next season for them to make their debut onto the Parisian runways!
