Hermes Cancels Bag Orders Due to COVID-19
As the COVID-19 pandemic has taken over the world including France, Hermes had to seize production of all of its products for around 4-6 weeks which means that certain special bags such as the Shadow Birkin and Rainbow Birkin have been canceled for many of their boutiques.
As you might or might not know, each Hermes boutique manager is the buyer for each of their own stores as they know what their clientele desires most. Most of the Hermes boutique managers requested these limited edition bags for their VIP customers, however we have learned that most of the orders have been canceled as they do not have enough time to produce these specific bags.
These limited edition Shadow Birkins and Rainbow Birkins were already sought out by Hermes collectors however now they will be SUPER RARE as only a few Hermes boutiques have received their request.
Moving forward, we are unsure if any other orders or other style of bags will get canceled or postponed. We are hoping that they will bring these styles back next year as we still want to add these incredible pieces into our collections!
