ANOTHER Chanel Price Increase in 2021
According to various sources, Chanel will be raising prices again on July 1st and aspirational shoppers and luxury collectors everywhere are in shock. Allegedly, the prices are increasing up to 12.5% (maybe more) and this includes some of the best-selling bags—the Chanel Classic Flap, the Chanel 19, the new Chanel 21A collection, the Reissue and some of the Boy Bags.
I already feel you are paying a lot for a Chanel bag comparatively to a Hermes bag which is made of full leather plus made by hand not machines. I am very interested to see how Chanel will be able to withstand these price increases as their customer base might be getting a little bit smarter with their money as they can see most Chanel bags will go down in value after purchase. The occasional seasonal bag will become a classic but at what price?
