Andre Leon Talley Dead at 73
The iconic fashion editor, contributor, artistic director and sometimes a designer - Andre Leon Tally died on Tuesday January 18th, 2022 in New York, NY. The cause of his death is unknown at this time however he was in hospital. ALT worked at Vogue as Creative Director closely with Editor in Chief Anna Wintour and was a staple in the fashion industry plus even had a cult following of his own.
The fashion icon always was vocal about diversity on the runways and tried to have more inclusivity in mainstream fashion. ALT had been seen as a judge on “America’s Next Top Model” and did a cameo in the “Sex and the City” movie. We have featured ALT on this blog for his amazing Hermes Birkins and his extensive Louis Vuitton trunk luggage. He will always be remembered as an amazing fashion trailblazer and we are so sad to hear of his passing. Our hearts go out to his family and friends at this time.
