Are Chanel Bags Hand Made?
As the prices are SOARING at the house of Chanel, are these hand bags even hand made? Well the answer is YES & NO. There are some parts to making a Chanel bag that takes labor from the hands to do, i.e. tightening metal closures, lightly hammering some pieces into proper place and of course adding some embellishments or final touches to the bag -the rest is done by machine.
And is the Gold hardware REAL Gold??? The answer is NO. Chanel stopped using 24k gold closures on their bags back in 2008 Cruise Collection, so if you have any recent bags they are GOLD TONED HARDWARE, not the real deal.
With these answers being that this bag is made mostly by a machine and is not using real authentic gold pieces for their closures - again - why are the bag prices of CHANEL soaring??? I rather spend and invest my money into bags that take craftsmanship from a person and that has authentic REAL gold closures for the ALMOST the same price. I think we need to ask ourselves, do we really need another Chanel bag?? I need Chanel to prove to me that I need another bag from them and “here’s why…..?”
