Chanel has released a collection of bags this Spring/Summer 2019 season that hang around your neck! What an innovative way to carry your bag but is it realistic? We love designers that push the envelope, re-create a classic and even innovate the industry with something we have been craving. I am not sure this trend will be a keeper or even a trend at all.

While watching the fashions, it is hard to wear this piece. As much as we love the concept, the reality is harsh. This bag on the mannequin has nothing inside it. Now start adding in your wallet, keys, phone, lipstick/gloss and all the other necessities everyone needs these days, which now adds a few pounds hanging around your neck. I wouldn’t be able to use this as an actual bag because the strap is too short but it can be worn just as a necklace.

This steep Chanel neck accessory is the same price as the Chanel bags and will cost ya over $5k USD to get one of these leather bad boys around your neck. We repeat, we love the concept however not super functional but super cute for a photo shoot!!!
