Do Hermes Sales Associates Make Commission on Quota Bags?
The answer is NO. Hermes Sales Associates do not make commissions on any quota bags such as the infamous Hermes Birkin, Kelly or Constance bags - or even Limited Edition bags such as the Shadow, Picnic, Picto Doll, etc. The Hermes SA’s do make commissions on everything else in the store including other leather bags and leather goods. Each department in Hermes such as shoes, home goods, cosmetics, jewelry, fine jewelry, RTW, etc - all have different commission percentages that they earn depending on the department.
This commission scale is widely used throughout the retail industry as most of the main department stores have the same sliding scale for each department. Fine Jewelry and Shoes are usually the highest paid in commission’s however if you are a SA at Hermes, leather goods could be a contender.
