RARE Hermes Birkin SELLIER 25cm
I have never seen one in person and this photo reference (IG@Jhac40) of the Birkin Epsom Sellier 25cm in Black with Gold Hardware is one of the only people I have known to have this bag in hand. Almost every Hermes Birkin bag is designed in more the Retourne style with the stitching of the bag inside and the rounded edges with the gorgeous piping along the edges. The Sellier Birkin Bag is the opposite and has the stitching on the outside of the bag which creates a completely different look!
I know that this style will be very collectible and that this is an instant classic iconic bag that will stand the tales of time plus the stock market. The Sellier Birkin bag has an elegance to it that is more formal and is a bit more structured. As we do not have specific numbers of this bag, I have heard that there are only 5 of these in the world at this time.
I am not sure if this bag is a limited edition bag for Hermes or if this will become a new permanent style in which the Birkin has been reinvented? Let me know your thoughts below and if you have any other information on this super iconic new take on the iconic Birkin bag.
