Hermes Cargo Birkin Bag - NEW!

As I scroll through my daily social media feeds, I came across a very familiar bag however it has been redesigned. I wonder to myself if this bag is an authentic Hermes Birkin or is this a new replica version from Readymade Japan? I did a little more investigating to find out that Hermes is releasing the “Cargo Birkin” bag.

I do have a few mixed emotions about this new Birkin bag as I love the thought, design and practicality for an everyday use of the Birkin, however with it now being a “Cargo” bag, does it still have the same luxury appeal to that 1% consumer? Furthermore, what does that Cargo Birkin retail for?

As I love the outer pockets to put in your daily necessities and a coffee cup holder plus a spot for your metro pass, I wonder is this the new direction we are going to be going in handbag luxury? Versatility and diverse use is always amazing in sustainable fashion, however will this just be another collectors piece or will this actually be used for what it is for?

My coffee cup hanging on the side of my precious Birkin bag makes my heart sink a bit with the thought of just a miniscule splash of that deep roasted goodness staining the canvas of my 5 figure tote. Taking this Cargo Birkin on your next travel adventure or going through your daily routine is an amazing idea plus I love the natural color of this canvas and leather which could go with almost any outfit.

As this bag crosses off a lot of my daily needs list that I look for in a tote, I am still curious to find out what the retail price is for this Birkin bag and will the consumer just treasure the bag or really use it as what it was meant for? Also, I wonder if it will come in any other sizes??
