Hermes Pushes the Gee Gee Charm

As Hermes is known for their hand crafted leather charms to accent any Hermes bag or even outfit, we have seen Hermes recently pushing their New Gee Gee Zebra Charm over their famed Rodeo Charms. As the Rodeo Horse Charms have been a staple for the Hermes brands for decades and H collectors are always scouting for new ones, the Gee Gee charm has not taken off like the Rodeo unfortunately. These Gee Gee charms were very good in theory as it stays within the “horse” family however they do not have the excitement or fanfare of the Rodeo Horse or even Rodeo Pegasus charms, which are still highly collectible and hard to find.

I am not sure if Hermes is trying to distract that they reintroduced some VERY RARE Rodeo charms back into the market which then flooded it with too many Rodeo charms? Even with the influx and reintroduction of past style it seems the Rodeo charm is the fan favorite and the Gee Gee is apparently set out to the pasture or even just hanging with other charms on a table at the Hermes boutique.
